We were married on November 27, 2009
on Trunk Bay in St. John, USVI at sunset. I am wearing the
white silk charmeuse with the lavender Bride’s slip set
underneath. I started searching for the perfect beach outfit
and I came across this website. Once I saw Sarah’s sarong and
how beautifully it flowed, I knew that was what I was wearing.
I wanted to look beachy, but classy. I purchased two of the
mother of pearl pin sets. What I found to be the key to making
the sarong work was pinning everything to my strapless bra. The
safety pins were covered up by the lavender slip set being
folded over on the top (like it’s supposed to be). I need some
help with the back, but it turned out beautiful.
I ordered my sarong in July, but I
didn’t try it on until the beginning of November (I was waiting
until I lost 20 lbs). I’m 5’11”, so I’m taller than the average
woman. The top wasn’t long enough (remember I was going for
classy), so I called them frantically explaining my situation.
They were so awesome and sent out a new top piece to me within
days. Thank you to their staff for being so helpful! I’ve had
countless compliments. I’m so glad I came across this website
or I’m not sure what I would have done.
