Kristen and Shane's Wedding in Playa Car, Mexico
August 31, 2006 |

Kristen is wearing the Silk
Shantung set with the triangle top and the Mother of Pearl
choker and pin. She had the set slightly reconstructed,
creating a beautiful lace-up train in the back, and turning the
sarong into a skirt.

The ladies are wearing our semi
sheer sarongs. From left to right we have the Silk
Shantung set (on bride), the coral semi sheer set layered on top
of the white semi sheer set, the red semi sheer set layered over
the white semi sheer set, and the light pink semi sheer set worn
with a hot pink sarong. |
"I thought you
might like to have some pics of our Wedding.
After the Wedding while walking around the
resort and taking photos, I as well as my three
girlfriends were continuously stopped and asked
about the sarongs and my gown. The girls looked
awesome! As you will see from the pictures, I
ended up designing my gown based on the premise
of a Wedding Sarong. I cannot begin to tell you
the compliments that I received. My gown was
truly a one-of-a-kind!
Shane and Kristen were married August 31, 2006,
5:00 p.m. on the beach in Playa Car, Mexico.
Thank you for assisting me with a wonderful
memory that will last a lifetime!
Sincerely, Kristen"
"Hi Victoria,
My name is Ruby and my
boyfriend is Mel I am wearing the light and
dark pink sarong (which by the way I
received a thousand compliments on from
people from ages 12 to 80) and Mel is
wearing a cream colored shirt and the darker
colored kakie's. We are the couple to the
far right.
I must admit I was shocked at how great
they looked on all of us. Let's just say I
was not too happy about wearing a sarong
especially after my boyfriend and I made
several unsuccessful attempts to tie the
sarongs ourselves. Lucky for the girls
Kristen to the rescue. Poor thing she was
running late for her own wedding but she
took the time out to make sure our sarong
were perfectly fit. I must admit the way
you tie the sarong makes all the difference
in the world. Fortunately Kristen had been
taught years ago how to tie a sarongs
otherwise it might have been disastrous. I
would HIGHLY recommend that you push the
video to those who do not know how to tie a
sarong."
